2007 was a breakthrough year for Cash Money/Universal Superstar artist Lil Wayne.
Vibe Magazine (November 07’ Cover Story) named him “The Best Rrapper Alive” & featured his “Best 77 songs of 2007”. He was honored at the BET 2007 Hip-Hop Awards, pulling down two
trophies. The prolific rapper was crowned MVP – beating out hip-hop icons such as Jay-Z
and Kanye West – he also snagged the coveted fan-voted Alltel Wireless People’s Champ Award
(Stuntin’ Like My Daddy). He also won this year’s “Viewers Choice Awards” at the BET Awards.
